Please read our rental terms carefully before booking

Reservations & Payment

  • Reservations for your car rental on Praslin Island can be made on our website with a wide selection of cars and insurance options. For us to process and confirm your booking, a minimum prepayment of 25% is required.
  • Once we have received your prepayment and reservation, we will forward you a formal email confirmation and voucher along with Pick Up details and meeting points.
  • You can choose to fully prepay for your reservation on our website, otherwise the remaining balance is to be settled on the day of rental in CASH (Euro, USD, or Seychelles Rupees) or by Credit Card (VISA / MasterCard ONLY).
  • Reservation without any prepayment will not be processed. A prepayment is definitely required to secure your car rental reservation.
  • Note: If you choose to settle the remaining balance by Card on the day of Pick Up, a 3.5% Convenience Fee will be applied to the outstanding balance.

Pick-up & Drop-off

  • We offer Free Pick Up and Drop Off at most locations on Praslin island (such as Praslin Ferry Terminal or Praslin Airport). For locations far from our base of operation, a Pick Up Fee or Drop Off fee may apply.
  • Our representative will always meet with you on the day of the confirmed Drop Off at the confirmed location and time, as stipulated in the rental agreement.
  • You should NOT hand over the car keys to any individual who does not represent Pristine Cars. We highly discourage taking any advice from bystanders on where you should leave the keys.
  • Any changes to the Drop Off time and location must be communicated to our operations team at least 6 hours prior to the confirmed Drop Off time.
  • Any extension to the Drop Off time without prior authorization will result in a FULL Day's charge.
  • Changes in Drop Off / return location must also be communicated at least 6 hours prior. Failure to do so will result in a FULL Day's charge.

Vehicle Cleaning

We kindly ask our clients to reduce the amount of sand they place in the car. Beach sand has very high salt content that causes rust to easily damage our cars. We charge a Valet Cleaning Charge of SCR 500 / €35 in the following instances:

  • Wet Seats
  • Sand everywhere in car especially under the foot rubber mat
  • Sand everywhere on seats, driving consoles, dashboard, door panels, center console, etc.

Some sand is to be expected and it is very unlikely to avoid any. We just ask that you reduce the amount of sand as much as possible as per instructions located in the car.

Insurance & Damage

Taxes & Collision Damage Waiver Insurance (CDW) are already included in our daily rates with different "Excess / Deductible" options available.

We offer 24/7 Roadside assistance to all our guests.

  • Any accidents caused while under the influence of alcohol or drugs will make the renter 100% responsible for all damages. The CDW Insurance will automatically be voided.
  • No individual is allowed to open the rental car's bonnet for any repairs, battery start, or anything related to the engine bay. Only representatives of the service provider are allowed. Failure to comply will cancel CDW coverage.
  • No one other than the service provider is allowed to sanction towing of the rental car.
  • Any accident or damage must be reported to Pristine Cars immediately after the incident. This allows us to serve you with appropriate service and quotations in a timely manner.

Mileage & Fuel

Unlimited Mileage

Guests have the freedom to explore every corner of the Island. There is no limitation in mileage.

Fuel Policy

We provide all our rental cars with a FULL tank of fuel upon Pick Up and the rental car must also be returned with a FULL tank of fuel upon Drop Off. Any missing fuel upon Drop Off will automatically be charged to your card.

Cancellation & Refunds

We offer FREE Cancellation up to 48 hours prior to your confirmed rental Pick Up date and time.

  • You will incur a 25% Cancellation Fee if you choose to cancel within 48 hours of the confirmed Pick Up date and time.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours and have made a full prepayment, we will refund the full prepaid amount LESS 25% Cancellation Fee.
  • Once your cancellation has been acknowledged, we will credit your card within 7 to 10 bank working days. Refunds are only applied to the same card used for prepayment.

No-Show Policy

If you do not cancel your reservation prior to the confirmed Pick Up date and time, or in the case you are a NO SHOW, you will not be refunded any portion of your prepayment.

To avoid any cancellation fees, you must cancel your booking at least 48 hours prior to the confirmed Pick Up date and time.
